The Queensland Tonga Rugby Union is delighted to announce its official Open Men’s squad for the upcoming Kings and Queens of Pacific Rugby tournament.

The squad contains a lot of familiar faces from last year as well as some new faces who will get their first taste in a Queensland Tonga Rugby jersey.

Congratulations to all players named and a heartfelt commiserations to those who were unsuccessful.

QUEENSLAND TONGA TO INTRODUCE NEW SIPI TAU IN 2014

Take a look at Queensland Tonga’s spirited rendition of the Sipi Tau from last year’s inaugural Tongan Battle of the States for the Monimonu Cup against NSW Tonga last year.

This year, our boys will unveil their own original Sipi Tau carefully composed to tell the story of the Queensland Tongan and the desire to harness and maintain the inherent Tongan warrior spirit that resides within every Tongan here in Queensland. Watch this space.
